Invenergy’s Tip Top Solar Energy Center Donates Over $20,000 to United Way of Lea County

Hobbs, New Mexico – July 9, 2026 – Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held independent power producer, today presented a donation of over $20,000 to United Way of Lea County, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the local communities where its projects are located.  

Invenergy’s Tip Top Solar Energy Center, which will generate 110 megawatts of solar energy, is located in Lea County. The project is under construction and anticipated to reach commercial operations later this year. 

"This donation came as such a wonderful surprise to our team, and it could not have come at a more meaningful time. As we kick off our 2027 campaign, partnerships like this one with Invenergy remind us exactly why this work matters,” said Becca Titus, President & CEO, United Way of Lea County. “We simply could not do what we do without partners, both new and longstanding, who believe in our community and choose to invest in it.
